The 2nd Annual Zimele Gala invites Toronto to see how there are “Generations of Hope” developing in the region of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa and how Torontonians and Canadians at large can be part of changing the future with these rural com­munities as people are empowered to “stand on their own two feet.”

    Guests will enjoy an evening of delicious food, unique live entertainment and most importantly, opportunities to learn more about Zimele from the organization’s founder Rosetta Stander. This year, Zimele is proud to introduce our special guest Thanda Phakathi, whose struggles and journey led her to the Zimele Community and whose story is a success beyond expectations and a true glimpse of what all of rural South Africa could be.

    PSALMSxZIMELE is the joint partnership of Psalm 91:1 Accessories and Zimele materialized through a jewellery collection entitled "The Zimele Collection" and will showcase an incredible display of design, collaboration, and craftsmanship between Canadian and South African women. Sales from all the jewellery sold will be given directly to the South African women who have helped create the jewellery. Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization to continue to drive awareness for their cause.
